Default 94 SL 750 Issues

Got an issue i cant quite understand. Just took it out for the first time this season and it started out running great. Then a few mins later it would barely move on the water. I took it out changed the plugs & re-launched...the same thing again. So i took the fuel/water separator and drained all the fuel out of it. I left the seat off & Took it back out and a few mins later started running great but when i turned around it would bog down. Sometimes it feels like it's running on 2 cylinders & then It will jolt to full power occasionally. So i figured it had some trash or water in fuel. So i took it back to shore put the seat back on went back out. Ran like crap again. Came back, took seat off it would act the same way it did earlier with the seat off. The gauge is showing its turning 3600-3700 rpms. So my ??? is why when the seat is on does it run slow(or barely move should i say)???

Have you found the problem? If so I would love to know mine is doing the exact same thing.

I talked with a tech and found that my problem was an exhaust leak. Fixed the leak and it went to running normal.
