New to the sight hoping someone can help. I have a '97 slt 700 that cuts out. It starts fine and runs good until something makes it shut down. It will then start right back up and run fine again until it shuts down again. After a while it will go into like a "safe mode" and only run at half throttle. We let it sit for a while and it will start up again and do the same thing. We changed out the fuel lines and determined that it was getting fuel. Put a timing light on and determined that it was just quitting, not getting a fire from the box. Is this a sensor of some kind telling it to shut down or is the box or something in it going bad? If someone out there has some insight on this I would appreciate any help I could get. This has been a on going problem for a while now and I would love to get it solved. thanks!
