Default 1997 SL 1050 Issue

Towards the end of last year I had an issue with the SL1050 running rich and being a little bit of a pain to start. This year, it is really being a pig to get started. It, slowly dies at idle, bogs out of the hole, but runs great at mid and high RPM's. I figured the carbs need to be rebuilt seeing as I don't know if they have ever touched by the previous owner. I'm pretty mechanically inclined so rebuilding them should be no problem, just wanted to post to see if anyone had this problem and could lend any tips or tricks to doing this job. Also does anyone know a good Polaris dealer in the SF bay area or where to get a good deal online for carb kits.
