Hey everybody, I'm new to the site. I have a 96' Polaris SL780 that I just bought a new stator for polaris part #3240270. Now I was wondering if I can run that brand new stator with the original CDI box. I was looking online at a parts fische and noticed they updated the CDI from part #3240288 too #3240289. I have heard they changed ignition systems over the years but have not been able to confirm if it is ok to run the new stator with the old CDI. Also, how do I check the CDI to make sure it is running properly if indeed it is ok to use it with the new stator. Thanks, any help will be greatly appreciated!
