Default Which ski to put the ride plate on? SLH or Virage?

Just like the title says, which ski do I put the ride plate on? Both are 2000s with the 700. Already have the ride plate, it's this one.

Polaris Ride Plate | 780 SL SPEED PLATE

The ski's are my bosses, although I put more hours on them than he does. What's the advantage to putting one on? I don't know much about skis, just how to fix em (put a new SBT motor in the Virage last year). I know more about boats...

The advantage is to ease porpoising. (When the hull jumps up and down.) Smaller watercraft like the SL are usually more prone to it. So probably put it on that one.
