Polarracing

hi everyone, new guy here, I picked up an SLX from my friend, been sitting out side for a year (atleast) and I charged up the battery. As soon as I connect the battery even with the kill switch off, the mfd turns on and the display is messed up (numbers don't appear very well) Aswell, you can change the trim level and even crank the engine, but slowly, any help would be appreciated, thanks a bunch

PS. The sled even sat through a Canadian winter, so would it be possible it has water damage?
