Hi i have a slx that i purchased and found out the brain box was water damaged but i found a 95 sl 750 with a good brain nbox and i put my cdi in it there was a grey wire that dosent seem to have a place to plug in so i left it loose . and it runs great the only problem i know of is the dash dosent work im tryin to figure out why it seems to be the same dash as my slx?? great forum thanks for any help pete.

Check the .25 amp fuse in the ebox, even if it looks good it may be bad

The grey wire goes to tan on the termenal board it's the limp mode wire
