Default MFD Issue

Having an issue on the 97 SLT780. The MFD never wants to shut off. I thought that it would power itself off after a while of non-use but it doesn't seem to want to do that. Have an AGM battery that I dont want to worry about it draining down eventually. Read somewhere to check the kill switch, but didn't see exactly what should be checked. Kill switch does function as it should.

Anyone have any suggestions?
