My 2004 Virage wasn't using any oil last summer so I started mixing oil with the gas. During the winter I bought and installed a new oil pump. It still isn't using any oil from the tank. I think the pump is working because if I remove the oil hose from the carburator and put it in a container it pumps oil into the container. When I hook it back up to the engine and ride the oil level in the oil tank doesn't move. I'm not depending on the guage, I actually marked the oil level in the tank, 2-3 hours and 10 gallons of gas later it is still the same. Is there someting else I should be looking at? Plugged passage in the carb?

My 98 GP1200 was like that. The oil level barely moved. It has to be using oil otherwise your engine would be seized in a few minutes tops. Don't premix and run injection together unless it's just a 100:1 ratio of premix. You'll overload the motor with oil and cause problems.
