I have a 2001 Virage. The Bilge does not work when you push the button. I checked the switch and there is power to the switch. When I unplug the bilge and test to see if I the plug is hot when I push the button it is Not. The pump works fine when connected direct. It is not in the switch and I get "no power" to the plug. Two questions: Why no power to plug? Why does it blow fuses? Thanks for the help!

My guess is that a wire is worn through in the steering and shorting out or the switch is bad.
