Question Polaris SL 700 Stator... HELP PLEASE!

I have a Polaris SL 700 with the 700 twin motor. I was only getting fire on 1 cyl so decided to replace the stator... Well the new stator is on, but when i put the flywheel on and tighten it down the engine will not turn over... however if i put it on "loosly" and only tighten it by hand it will turn over and fire on both cyl. but it sqeuals (flywheel and stator rubbing). what do i need to do to resolve this issue? i am so close to getting this damn thing in the water i cant control myself...

Default This Forum Sucks

This forum SUCKS!!! I belong to another forum for old vintage riding lawn mowers. They have literature for TONS of equipment all the way back in the 40's and 50's. I can't even find one person on here that has an owners manual for a 1994 Polaris 750. Your right about mechanical help too. Like I said, this forum SUCKS!!!
