Default Need SLT 750 Help with Stalling

I have a 96 SLT750 that was purchased used last season. The kids road it for 2 to 3 weeks and it ended with a hole in the front cylinder. I bought an SBT engine and installed it last year about 2 weeks from the end of the season. It seemed to run OK but didn't get much use other than break in time. I've learned a lot about these Polaris machines since then (most of which I don't like) and opted to install the triple output fuel pump to make sure the front cylinder doesn't run lean again.

Enough history.... my problem is the machine will startup and run good for about 10 to 15 minutes and shut down. It might start back up but will go a short distance then stall out again. after leaving it sit for an hour or so it will start back up and repeat the cycle. I've replace the fuel filter and cleaned the plugs. I've also had the kids suffer thru a tank of gas to get last years fuel out.

I've pulled off the water outlet manifold and started the engine to see that all 3 cylinders has water running thru and that looks OK. I even pulled out the thermostat to make sure it wasn't stuck and forcing an overheat shutdown.

It doesn't look like an over heat issue so I tried to bypass the fuel shutoff valve and the fuel separator to see if pressure was building somewhere in those components and no luck.

Have these machines been noted to have a vapor lock condition or thermal ignition problem? I'm not sure what to attack next. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Sorry that you didnt get any activity here.
I wonder if the gas tank vent is working properly or if you have found the cause if you could post it for others. There is a wealth of information to be had here. I wish the forums had better searches.
