this is a 2000 xl1200 with 230 hours on it with a blown motor. needs crank, case, 1 cylinder and piston plus standard rebuild parts. great for the do it yourselfer. ran great with top end around 54mph. carbs recently rebuilt. bumps and bruises on body. i have had this since 2004. i purchased it 2nd hand with 40 hours on it. short summers up here so im buying a new unit rather than take the time to fix this one. have been quoted 1299 for complete rebuilt engine and around 800 just for parts. in working condition this unit sells between 3500 and 4500. looking for 1950obo. 8474526804 marc unit has always been fresh water. located in chicago
