Thumbs down 08 Seadoo RXTX 255 Sputtering, any help?

I have a 2008 Seadoo RXTX255 and I bought it brand new and never had issues with it until now. Around July of this year I capsized my jetski, I let the water drain out and never started the jetski and I kept it in a garage till today. I took it out on the lake and at first start up, it performed at usually; strong thrust out of the whole, but when I went to turn, it would sputter and have random thrusts of full power then it would start putting and travels at half the speed and power. There are no indicator lights on and I have checked for water in my tank using a small cup and a siphone and there was no separation. Any Suggestions?

Thumbs down Don't blame the ski for D.O.E.

Ok you capsized your ski and now it doesn't run right. Well lets agree it is not the ski's fault that you rolled it. Any time you roll a ski upside down you can't expect that all you gotta do is turn back over and think you are just going to go and get back on it and everything is fine. I find it hard to believe you rolled in the first place. I have several Seadoo RXT's and GTX three seaters and have never rolled any of them in the 5 years I have had them. There are proceedures that the dealer has to do service a ski that has been capsized before it will run right again, especially with a high performance supercharged four stroke. You probably have water issues in your electronics. But don't give the ski a thumbsdown due to D.O.E.,There is no indicator light for D.O.E., if you can't figure out what that stands for let me know. Sounds like you don't know what to do so take it a dealer. Doubtful there is water in your tank. It is an engine related problem do to dousing it with water and being upside down. Just letting it sit was not the brightest thing either.

Well im assuming DOE is some kind of insult in a way judging from the retard response you wrote. I am not looking for someone who gets off trying to be an asshole, I just need suggestions so if you dont have any useful advice keep your personal opions to yourself.

No problem, I actually called my dealer to help you and he gave me a couple ideas to help. But now that you responded like that, I will keep them to my self. I just didn't like the way you are finding fault with the ski.

Good luck....

Don't get offended by Outlaw's comments. He may seem somewhat abrasive but he helps many people out on this board. He has a point it was a terrible idea to let it just sit after a capsize. If you have the mechanical ability of a toddler then take it to the dealer or a PWC mechanic asap.

And that was not to insult you but to perhaps save your motor from becoming a rusty yacht anchor. If it's not already too late.
