What do you guys think of a new leftover 2009 RXT-X for $10k? How is this hull in the chop? Any opinions on this model would be great. Outlaw where are you? :-)

Hey Yamadoo, glad to see ya lookin at a Seadoo. The 2009 RXT-X is a great ski if the dealer set it up right. I have heard of some not being set up right and eventually going into limp mode until a good dealer can resolve the problem in the ECU. Now having said that I rode with some guys half my age in 3 footers in the Chesapeake Bay for about 40 miles. I was on my 09 RXT-iS and they were on the 2009 RXT-X. They cut right thru the waves and left me for dead. I like the RXT-X over the RXT-iS. The suspension is useless in that kind of riding. The S-3 stepped hull is fast. They will run out at 69 MPH right out of the box. They won't however run with my 2006 RXT, but no stock ski can including the 300 X KAWI. But I would not hesitate to buy one. Ten k is an ok deal.
