Default Seadoo RXT 2006,, thanks in advance

Hey guys I am new to the site ,, I am looking at buying a 2006 RXT Seadoo, it is black and gold,, it has 72 hrs on it, in great shape, all maintenance has been done except the Supercharger washers(or rebuild).. It has a 2007 Triton aluminum trailer in great shape,, its a nice ski,, here comes the big question,, what is it worth cash money in this market,, thanks for any hellp or opinions.. (and were there any problems with the 2006 seadoo RXT or was it a good ski) thanks.

Welcome to the forum, sorry in getting back to you, I have been a little busy. Any ways the 2006 RXT is a fantastic ski, as long as you update the ceramic washers to steel ones in the supercharger. Stock the ski runs very well 67-69 mph@ 7900 rpms. They are very easy to modify as well. I have 2006 RXT that I have owned since new. When Seadoo came out with the RXT-X 255 hp I said to my dealer I want to be able to keep up with those new skis. So he suggested RIVA upgrades. There was a STAGE I kit, a STAGE II kit, and a STAGE III kit. I said what the hell and put in the STAGE III kit. That with some additional mods I have done created a very fast ski. It is now rated at approx 300 hp @ 8400-8500 rpms. Top speed is now 74-76 mph on gps. But whats more impressive is how fast it gets there. No stock ski on the planet can hang with it. the kicker is it is as reliable as a stocker. I now have 119 hrs on it. Runs well.

Ok what is yours worth, I would say based on a good sea trial that it should go between $5500-$6000 w/trailer. The RXT's are also better in the chop and more stable at idle than the RXP's You also can tow toys with them since they are more stable and seat the observer. My ski will roast all 2 seat and three seat stock muscle skis, which is priceless watching the guys face when a 6 year old ski walks away from them. Based on a good sea trial I would say go for it.

Take Care and Good Luck,

OUTLAW
