I am having a small problem with my 94 GTS. The ski runs and will start riding just fine. Once I am at full throttle and the engine is a little warm, the ski will start cutting out. The ski does not die, it just starts to cut out. The ski runs fine at low speed and taking off. Any thoughts?

do a compression test to rule out ring wear, then carbs next high side

Thanks, I will try that. There is a small sensor at the top of the head. What does that sensor do? I looked on the web and found that it is some type of temperature sensor. Could that be part of the problem?
