Default 96 XP wiring problems.

i have a 96 XP that i believe am having a problem with the cdi box. when i connect the ground to the battery, i blow all the fuses, and the elelctrical under the seat smells hot and will smoke. there is not any corrosion inside the electrical box under the front hood, nor the one under the seat. tried the VTS trim motor...not the problem. i am confused and this thing is getting irritating. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Default electrical problems

I would suggest taking it to a Seadoo mechanic in your area before you cost yourself too much money. The electrical parts in that ski are not cheap to replace. Mike
