Default Please help - should be simple

I have a 2006 Seadoo pwc. Last weekend, we beached the craft on a lake beach. We left without any problems and it was running fine. About 5 min. later it started to give me an "Exhaust" warning for overheating. We immediately shut it down. We could start it back up and begin to go but in about 30 sec and it was moving fine, but the "exhaust" warning came back on. We stopped for the day.

When we took it in to the dealer he said that there was sand in the exhaust and the impeller was cracked - probably from a rock sucked into the impeller. The price he gave me to fix was VERY expensive. What should it cost to repair these two items?

Thanks very much.

Impeller $275, Wear Ring $65, possible exhaust hose $56 and about 1.5 hours labor.
