I have a xp it starts very hard, You have to hold the trottle full open for it to start. The plugs are black instead of brown should I check the timing or the jetting ?

. once it starts it runs great
. it does ideal but it has been turned up
. it is moored and getting it
out is very difficult
. if I remove one plug and crank the motor over a few times it will start right up.
