Default securing battery on 95 gtx

I need ya'll's help! Just got this ski a few weeks ago, has ran well till today...Had a broken terminal on the battery...Got a new battery and installed it but realized that the battery is not secured to anything.. is it suppose to be? And how can I secure it so it doesn't slide around while ski is in motion? I don't want to be buying new batteries all the time!!!

There's is supposed to be a battery tray located right next to the rear electrical box. The tray has a rubber strap that goes around the battery.
Look at the parts diagram:
Xtreme Powersports' 1995 Sea Doo GTX Parts List
Part #'s 10, 12, 13
