Hi I am looking to buy a pair of personal watercraft, but don't know much about them at this point. I am thinking about buying a 1997 GSX and a 1996 GTI Sea Doo for $4000. First I was wondering if this is a fair price for these two. My second question is are these fairly dependable or are they likely to have problems. My final question do personal watercraft in general take a lot of tinkering to keep in good running order other than general maintenance. Thanks for your help.

As for the pricing, i dont know, but there are websites that give prices for every pwc when they were new, and what they should be priced at now.
I have a 1996 GSX and its a very dependable machine. Only just this year i had to get the engine reworked and a new impeller installed. For 13 years of use and 150+ hours on it thats not bad. As for the GTI im not too sure.
