We need to have the crank replaced on our 2004 GTI LE. We have an estimate of $1800 to do this work from a person who works at a SeaDoo dealership but will do the work on the side.

I want to know if this is a "good" price to do this work. We are on the fence whether to have this work done since the SeaDoo has given us problems every year but it is cheaper than a new one.

might be cheaper to put in a sbt engine instead of repairing crank. $1800 seems high
