I have a seadoo spi and was going to check my wear ring when i took off the housing the impeller was a little loose so i pulled and it just fell off. From what I understood u need a tool to get the impeller off what am I missing for it to just pull off like that is it something on the shaft or something on the impeller that keeps it on. Any advice would be appreicated.

Is the impeller still in the housing? If so yes it does come off the shaft without coming out of the housing. If the impeller came out and it is in your hand then you have a problem. Hope this helps.
