Default 2003 Sea Doo One beep while cranking

Gti has starting issues. I plug in key and get 2 beeps. Try to crank and most times it makes one knock and the unit beeps one time. Then have to remove and reinsert key to get two new beeps. What does the one beep mean. I purchase this unit used and have no books for it. Also, It is hard to crank and requires a lot of choking. Usually after you get it warmed up it runs fine. The new issue is getting it cranked and keeping cranked to get it warm. This beep issue just started receintly. I haven't been the one riding it so can't tell what might have happened.

I'm not sure this will help you or not, but feel free to check here for some of the diagnostic beeps and what they mean - http://www.sea-doo.net/Specification...PROCEDURES.pdf

Thanks dvanpham,
I looked at website and it told me basics and I decided to charge battery and then try. Mine was weak, but not dead. I know these electronics have to have a strong voltage supply to work correctly. Someone else said the one beep was built in and you have to wait 33 seconds between starts. A safety for your starter not to over heat. I love forums as they always have been super in helping novice like me
Thanks again
