To start things off, I am new to this forum and new to PWCs in general but I finally decided to purchase one and I wanted to get some of the facts down before I do. I am really leaning towards purchasing a 1999 xp from a couple I know. I know the ski is in good shape but I barley know anything about it.

If I post a picture of it can you guys tell me exactly which one it is and what the motor size is?
Are these skis any good and what are the main concerns and problems with them?
Are they easily moddable?

If there is anything else you guys would like to throw in..please feel free. I need all the help i can get.
