2001 DI Fault Code Limp Mode and Maint light. What goes wrong?
Im looking to buy this 2001 GTX DI 951 with only 40 hours on it. Great shape.
Owner said the last time he took it out the 'maint' light came on and it went into limp in mode. After a little while it cleared and ran great the rest of the day. One time event, then ski was parked for 2 years.
Fires up fine now, no light on. Dont know what the code was (I dont have the SeaDoo code reader lol).
He said he doesnt think the buzzer was on while it happened.
I know the common problem is the rectifier, he he said it didnt say low volt.
What other common problems with the DI? Throttle position sensor? Computer? Injectors?
What do you think will end up being wrong with it?
