Default 1995 XP - No spark but turns over

1995 XP - No spark but turns over

I have replaced spark plugs and checked fuses. MPEM looks brand new (no water has gotten in). Have used a fully charged battery.

Can anyone help me on the next step to determine the issue?

Thanks!

Bump...

Also, the gauges are not functioning (before or after lanyard is attached), but the ignition lanyard button and start/stop button are both functioning.

Any ideas?

check and double check all your grounds. Electrical and water dont get along to well lol. After you've checked your grounds you can try a few other things, first cut off about 1/4'' on the plug wire at the boot and reattach the boot and recheck. If still no succes start looking at the coil. If your coil has a white wire on it pull the white wire off and install a test light and crank the motor. If it lights up, you have power going to the coil just not out. Start with the cheapies first ( replace complete plug wires ) if that doesnt work your probably going to be looking at a coil. If the test light doesnt come on start looking at wiring/stator or possibly an MPEM. Just because it "looks" new doesnt mean its working. Hope this helps!
