Default Need help! 02 rxdi stutters

Put a remaned engine in my 02 rxdi but somewhere around 5500 rpms and again at top speed all of a sudden the rpms drop off by at least 500 stay that way for a second and then kick back up all while holding the throttle steady. Thanks in advance for any help this has been a nightmare.

Also have a 02 rx this one ran over 7000 rpms last season this season it gets maybe 6100 and 50 mph. Put fresh gas and new plugs in got up to about 6800 rpms for the first two times used now it is right back down to 6000. Plugs are brown at the tip of the plug with a little gunky residue around the rim and twords the bottom of the prong.

I am almost positive that the fuel lines are black but I will double check today. What is wrong with the grey ones?

They are low quality and dissolve from the inside leaving a greenish gunk throughout the fuel system. Many if not all SeaDoos from 1994-2002 had them. They need to be replaced.

No, but you should go post this on greenhulk.net under the SeaDoo 2 stroke section. The tech support on that site is great.
