Default 1993 spx

I got my 1996 seadoo gti and 1993 seadoo spx out for the first time this past weekend and they run good. The 3 seater gti is really stable but the spx is a bit "tippy". I tried to put my 120 lb. son on the back to double him and water comes up over the back of the ski and gets realy unstable. I might just have to ride this one one up but I would like to double on it . Anyone out there double on this make and if so are there any tips on riding.

The SeaDoo X1 hull is really a one person. Granted I never rode one I know they are tipsy. Even more so than the later X2-X4 versions. The only way to mount the second passenger is under power, so you might want to try that if you want to ride with your son.
