Default 96 xp help

Hello I am pretty new to jet ski's and just bought a pair of 96 seadoo xp's they run good and look nice.. but i was wondering when i get them home should i take them to a shop to get a tune up or what should I do? any suggestions?

How many hours are on them? I would check the plugs and replace if necessary, carbs should be cleaned and checked. The drive shafts need checked also. Zinc anodes checked if salt water use.

Thank you for the response and i will have them checked.. but i have another question.. how much oil should i put in before i go out on the water a guy told me a quart is that accurate?

The watercraft have the stock oil injection system right? If so just fill up the oil reservoir, just don't overfill it.
