Default 2002 GTX RFI resenator
I have a 2002 GTX RFI with what looks to be a bad Right hand resenator. It looks like it has gotten hot and melted. I have looked and these resenators are very hard to fine.

Does anyone know if I replace the resenator with a straight piece of pipe would it hurt anything? The LH resenator seems to be fine.

What is the purpose of the resenators?
