Default 2011 gti 130 questions

Hi, i just bought a 2011 gti 130 and i have a few questions. Should my engine look like all the other 4-tec engines? mine doesn't have the valve cover that says rotax, am i missing something. and any tips or anything i should do or know before i put it in the water thanksss

Yes, it should definitely have a cover (black) that says rotax. I just bought a 2011 as well.

Tips:

1. Don't forget the drain plugs
2. Have fun, its a very powerful ski for being "130hp" (I've ridden other skis with this power to weight ratio and this feels head and tails faster)
3. As for breaking it in. Some people to say take it easy, vary the RPM and don't go WOT. Some say break it in how you ride it. Some say baby it for an hour, vary the rpms... then ride it like you stole it.

Being a non-SC'd ski you shouldn't worry too too much about break it. The first couple times out though i'd let it warm up before taking off.
