I'm looking to buy a 2001 Seadoo GTX DI (I think that's what he has it listed as) I spoke to the guy today, said he's had it for 4-5 years, ran great, no problems, but 2 weeks ago he was out on the water, heard a pop noise and that was it. He said the compression in one of the cylinders is low and although it turns over, it will not start. I'm looking at getting a rebuild kit, but wanted to know if anyone knew anything else I should be looking at, especially with the pop noise, maybe a hole in the block etc? Any info would be great, just don't wanna drive an hour when someone on here may be able to shoot an answer up. Also, the price is $900, I think that it's a steal, but I'm new to this.
