06RXP

Hey guys just picked up an 06 rxp with 35 hours on it. Im wondering if this machine has the ceranic washers in the SS and if I should change them out right away. Also was wondering any other problems with this machine.

Is there a top speed limiter on it ? seems like I get to 69 mph reving 7800 and thats it will not go over 69 no matter what.

I'm sure Outlaw will chime in and he should be the authority but I do believe that the 06 will have ceramic washers and if you know that they haven't been changed, CHANGE THEM NOW!

Hey I have a 2006 RXT, You should defineatly find out if you are runnin ceramic thrust washers in the supercharger. If they are ceramic, usually the magic number has been 100 +- hours. But it is like playin Russian Roulette, as you get closer to 100 hrs its like addin more bullets. Stainless steel is what you want. Or else the washers may start to break apart and ingest through the motor, not good.

As far as the speed goes my ski would register 69 mph @ 7950 rpms, then when I open it up it would read 69 mph @ 8500 rpms!! Then it it broke, lost the wheel and axle so I use my buddie's GPS to clock max speed now in the mid 70's @ 8500 rpms. So you are probably close to your top speed @ 69 mph , but verify with GPS
