Just got the jet ski not to long ago it was running great and then the wear ring went out not a big deal u know i put it in and bolted everything back on and then something went out in the computer the cpu was the one that works with the drive or ignition cpu because the guys at the shop had to re-register the key. But my question is the new problem i put it in the water and it wouldn't go move nothing and then over heated or i got the *hi temp* sign. but i took it out disassembled the impeller and housing and started it up and gave it a little gas and the drive shaft wasn't spinning or anything what happened does anyone know? it was running fine before the cpu and the wear ring. ps the guy at the shop had to pump like 3or 4 quarts of oil to get water out of engine tipped and sucked in water. can anyone help thank you in advance

Your engine runs but the driveshaft doesn't turn? I'm also confused on everything you typed after "ps"
Are you saying that you previously had water in the engine before these problems surfaced?

I had it running in the water but it wasn't going top speed and the guys kept running it i trailer-ed it and notice it needed a wear ring so i replaced it and the guys tried jumping it off and then we had to replace the EMM and now i crank it up in the water and it wont go i pulled the impeller back off and cranked it and the shaft wasn't spinning so i grabbed it (with engine on) and i could turn the drive shaft. So how bad is the damage and can i fix it without a shop?

after the ps the guy at the shop (J) he had to poor\suck oil in and out of the engine to get the water out some guys fliped it and sucked in a ton of water
