We have just had a new engine put into our 2004 SeaSoo GTI LE. This is our second engine in two years. I noticed before our first engine was replaced that the SeaDoo was not using as much oil as previously. After the first engine was replaced I kept a close eye on the oil but it just did not seem to be using as much oil as before. When we had the second engine replaced, we had the oil pump replaced. We just got the SeaDoo back, the mechanic put oil in the gas tank since it was a new engine.

We have filled the gas tank up 1.5 times but the oil level has only gone done about a 1/2 inch which is considerably less than when we first bought the SeaDoo.

How worried should I be that the SeaDoo is not using as much oil as it should?
