Howdy, Today I was trying to figure out why i had no power to my start-stop button nor my dess-post. Then i found a random black wire, The wire looked like it was hooked up somewhere then cut off it is coming out of the top of the rear electrical box and is hooked up to the coil im guessing. So i put it on the negative terminal and stared hitting buttons and nothing happened, then i put it on the positive terminal of my battery and pushed the start button and it turned over hurray found the problem NOT!!! i then felt the coil and it was extremely hot so i took it back off, and now im back where i started It seems to be a grounding problem but im not sure where this wire hooks up because its not a very long wire maybe 7 inches so it has to be close. If anyone could give me just the slightest bit of help that would be greatly appreciated.
