94 GTX oil injector leakage
We have a 94GTX that's in good shape. We are putting o a new top end ont the ski this weekend. One problem we have had with the ski for ever is that during winter storage the injectors leak oil into the bottom end and then the first time we start the ski I fill the neighborhood with smoke. Then when we get it in the water under load it again becomes a smoke machine until the the bottom end get clean after which it runs well the rest of the season. Other people I've talked to, some have the same problem and some don't. Is this a fixable problem and if so how do you fix it? Ok, the easy answer is to store it without oil but that's not the answer I'm looking for. I have a 93 xp with the same motor and it does not have the same problem.
