Default 2000 gsx rfi hard to start warm

I have a 2000 gsx rfi that is hard to start warm. it cranks fine cold. When it gets warm the only way to possibly get it to crank is to hold the throttle wide open and spin it for a good while. Any help would be appreciated

compression is 150 on both cylinders

battery is fairly new and seem to have a good charge

should i look for anything in particular? or just change the filters and check the lines for any blockage or collapsing and make sure the tank is vented properly? Again thanks for responding, any help is appreciated!

Default Sea Doo GTX Warm Start Problems

I am having the same problem of warm start contained in this string. It starts just great cold and runs like a top. If I shut it down for 2-3 minutes it starts up again no problem. If I let it sit for 20 - 30 minutes it won't start. I need to crank it for 30 sec with the throttle fully closed. I need to do this 2 - 3 times and then crank it with the throttle about 1/3. Ususally it starts after 2-3 cycles of this process. Once it starts it runs fine. If it sits over night it always starts fine the next day.

Was the problem referred to in this string vapor lock and if so how was it corrected. If not, what could the problem be? The string says check the fittings. Could it be the fuel? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Angry GTX4 2004 hot start issue

Hi Just wondered if you had a resolution to your problem as I am experiencing a similar issue with my 2004 GTX4. Sarts every time from cold and runs perfectly but wont restart when hot. Turns over once or twice then just clicks, leave it to cool down for 30mins and it starts again. Had it back to Seadoo workshop but they do not know what is causing the issue - any help appreciated.

Default Can't help

We were unable to solve the problem. We finally sold the jet ski. We never did find out what was wrong. We even went to a number of dealers and non could help.
