Default rebuild super or new super?

ive heard seen some talk on here that people would like the x-charger. i was looking on riva's website and it looks like its about 700 bucks. to rebuild mine with parts and labor im looking at close to 600.
first off is that the right supercharger? and would i need anything more?

Ok, for every action there is a reaction. You put the X charger on you are changing the horsepower, so ergo new impeller to keep the rpms down so you won't hit the rev limiter or blow the engine. You can't just add more power without setting the ski up for it. I think Artic has commented on impeller sizes before. Also putting the huge intercooler that I use RIVA GEN II, will yield more horsepower, I Riva 4" intake w/4" duct hose is good to.

$600.00 Is too much for a rebuild

Minimum, you have to put 42 lb injectors ($175) and an impeller ($300) in to utilize the x charger so you'd have about $1,200 invested. You could try and sell your stock stuff to help fund the purchase and you could pick up pieces used to try and do it cheaper. Maybe get $125 for the charger and $75-$100 from the impeller. Jerry (greenhulk) will rebuild the stock charger for $415. Thats a complete rebuild, shafts , bearings, seals, washers. Everything but the housing and impeller.

If you're going to continue with the stock ceramic washers in the motor for the season, you should know that a remanufactured motor is $2,295 from SBT. Here's the link:

lol are season is almost over. and our boating season is done i think., our friend snapped her femer wakeboarding tonight.
on a seperate note when you role this ski upside down, "yes i did it" and none of my compartments are water tight. plus my hood wasnt shut i guess. But what way are you suppose to role it back over? i went to the back there was no arrow, so i rolled it over counter clock wise. there was water in the engine compartment but the oli has no water in it. thankfully
