I just bought a 95 Monte Carlo. It does not run, and I knew that when I bought it. I figure I would have a good project and learn something along the way.
The problem is that I can't get a spark. I have replaced the plugs, battery and coil. What else could I try? Is there something I can do to determine the problem by isolating it? Is it possible that it is something very simple such as a fuse?
I am new to motor maintenance and jet skis, so assume I am completely ignorant...
You will need to pull that electrical box apart, if you can get hold on a manual for your ski, that tell you how to test it with a multimeter, if it is faulty look on ebay for a replacement, might also be the magneto on the motor. Might be worth taking to somebody to test, cheers
