Default tigershark 1100 li update need help , no fuel.

ok so i rebuilt the engine and put it back in the hull and got everyting back in place and hooked up . but when i put the key in i noticed the pump dont come on and i took off the cover and the pump relay is very corroded and i tried bypassing it and nothing. so i need help on how to fix this issue , any help or tips would be greatly appreciated. oh and i sprayed some starter fluid and it fired right up so spark is there , its just the pump thats not coming on. thanks in advance.

Glad to hear you got it back together! When you crank it over is the pump getting power? Use a multimeter or a test light and start with the pump. If it has power and does not pump, the pump is dead. If it does not have power, work your way back up the harness. Double check your grounds.

ya i gotta check that tommorow and i was looking at the wiring diagram and it shows it gets grounded by the emm. so im hoping its the pump at this point over the computer. i took off the cover where the circuit breakers are and the relay inside which i belive is the accesory relay was badly corroded . does anyone know what this powers?? i dont think the fuel level is working either so im a little concerned right now . im hoping its not the emm. but when i spray starter fluid , it fired right up

I'd have to check but I believe the pump and sending unit are a unit so there might be a bad ground. See if the pump is getting power first, and go from there. You can also unplug the pump and jumper it to a battery (just hold the probe on for a quick bump to see if it does anything) just to see if it turns. Start with the simple stuff and then work you way back to the computer. Let us know. Good luck.

ok i checked the pump and theres no power going to it and that was due to the corroded relay. but even after i fix that and it shows power at the fuel pump plug. there is still no ground being supplied by the computer. theres no ground being applied to the relay or the pump. im really thinking its the computer. any of u guys think its something else??
