Default dropped Bolt in Carberator.. Now What?

I have dropped a bolt down the carb in my 1994 Montego 640. I have tried a shopvav on carb with throttle open , it did not come out, I have tried tipping it slightly (on trailer) to shake it loose , no luck. I would like to put it in water to see if I can tip it further but not sure if that will work. I have not turned it over or run it since bolt went in, Bolt is the spark arrestor cover bolt. About 1" stainless non magnetic. Thanks for any guidance!

You busted my idea saying it was a non magnetic bolt. It will not go past the reed valves into the motor so I think you are stuck with taking off the carb assembly to get it out.

Default Lucky thing I dropped a bolt in my carb!!

Thanks for the help! Bolt was right at the reed valves, no problem, found a broken reed valve while in there. Lucky thing I dropped a bolt down my carb!! Betcha never heard that before. Replaced the broken reed valves, machine still wont run on its own... fuel problem I suspect, Got good spark and runs on ether or gas poured in carb, How do i determine if pump is moving any fuel? I suspect it may be clogged, dirty, damaged etc. filter seems clear and line and filter in tank are in good shape.
