Default 96 Tigershark Montego, Roostertail Problems

I have a 96 Montego, and it roostertails. No pick up as engine runs top speed but slow take off. I have two of these and cannot see any difference between both jet ski's. There is no trim on these models. Anyone know what this could be. Looks like I need the water to shoot more downward for power. There is a nice solid stream of water shooting out. Let me know anyone. Thanks

Is your driveshaft slipping in the coupler?

Found the problem. One of the blades on the impeller was broken and you could see through it. That alone with misdirect the water and allow it to shoot upward. But here is my next question. I have removed the rear nozzle and am now trying to remove the impeller. Hard as hell!! I am using a socket and going counterclockwise to back out the impeller. It is very hard. Is there a set screw in the impeller ... am I doing this right? Let me know. Thanks
