i have a 94 barracuda 640 was riding it last year ,fell off when i got back on it acted flooded. i got it fired but now its very sluggish until it gets on plane.i put new plugs ,checked compression,cleaned out the carb and still no change
it has 135 each cyl runs great on the trailer ,idles good on water and has lots of top end but boggs from a stop untill it gets on plane any help would be great.

how do you check an impeller i have looked at it ,dont see any chips or air gaps between the impeller and housing

is it sluggish when it takes off or when its at full throttle. my 770 montecarlo gets slightly sluggish when im at 1/4-1/2 throttle but thats bout it. its fun, no complaints yet
