Default My Tigershark Monte 770

Hey everyone, just wanted to post some pics of my TS 770.

1996 Tigershark MonteCarlo 770 Red

just replaced the starter bendix, engine bay is still a little dirty, but in all, after purchase, titling , tax, tags, registration and minor repairs/mods... only $1,600 in the hole.

Enjoy.

Are you trying to get to the starter and solenoid or trying to find a place or price to replace it?

If your standing behind the ski looking forward, the left(Port) side there is the exhaust manifold. Follow the red(hot) wire from the elctrical box to the solenoid. It has a 10mm or might be 8mm nut on the end of the wire. This is the starter. Very tempermental, if the wire is corroded or loose connection.

Hope this helps.
I just sold this ski bout 2 weeks ago. miss her already.

Default solenoid or bendix

the starter spins fine. but it does not engage into the flywheel.
