Default Newb in need of help!

I'm sure y'all get this alot but I'm about to purchase a 93 tigershark as a projject but wanted to know what I'm getting myself and my roommate who are mechanically inclined asvfar as autos go I would say. This TS needs a starter rebuild, carb rbuild, and put the blower back on. Those are the KNOWN issues it has. 700$ with trailer. How much are parts typically, diffiulty of replacing parts and is it sound like a deal worth while? It hasn't been worked on or started in 3 years. Someone told me that then motor is probably shot?

Thanks ahead of time for any help.

My personal opinion is I will only buy Kawasaki or Yamaha watercraft. They have been around the longest, have the best technology and the best longevity and reliability. To be honest with you, Tigershark and Sea Doo is at the very bottom of my list because they have the worst reliability.
