Default Help with eltrical problem

hi i am wondering if anyone can help me with a problem with the electrical system on my 97 tigershark daytona 770 the gas gauge does not work (just sits on empty) and the low oil light stays on constantly when i know the fuel and oil are full also when you have the machine off and hit the bilge pump button the rpm gauge moves up to 2000 and the oil light comes on so i think there is a short somewhere has anyone else seen this problem before?

Sea Doo's and Tigersharks are notorious for electrical and mechanical problems. With you oil and fuel not working, it will either be your instrument panel that is broke or the unit in both tanks that is broke. As far as your bilge issue, it is something electrical but who knows what it could be? I've never worked on a Tigershark before so I am not at all familiar with them.

i had originally thought it was the senders but it seams like a main ground is shorting becuase when you touch anything electrical it makes all the gauges jump a bit
