we have a 97 montego dlx that is not getting any forward motion, the last time we rode it, it bogged down for about 3/4 mile and did not open up and get on plain, then made a loud screech and the engine revved but we lost all forward motion. The engine seems to be running fine, any suggestions on what the issue maybe> shaft, impeller, etc?
